Good effort to help stranded boats

I must say that I am most impressed by the attitude and efforts of CaRT to resolve the issues of boats stranded by the breach, writes Kevin McNiff.

Its recent update demonstrates a different approach to boaters affected, and in my opinion, goes a long way to showing just what can be done to alleviate their concerns. All parties working as one to the common goal—as it should be!

Present no problem

I have used the Ship Canal from Ellesmere Port to Marsh Lock (pictured) and can honestly say that it should present no problem to those affected so long as they take usual precautions.

Well done to CaRT, Peel Ports (who run the Manchester Ship Canal) and everyone concerned!  Have a Good Road!
