Mr Asbo is back!

OH DEAR! The infamous swan, named Mr Asbo is back on the Cam in Cambridge, once again taking up battle with the rowers.

He was removed from the water because of illness, is the official line, but it was when the water races were to start, but now that they are over he has been allowed back with his mate, today, Wednesday, Alan Tilbury reveals.

Antibiotics

The swan was taken to RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre two months ago with a injury to a foot.  It is understood that he did not respond very well to treatment, but high doses of antibiotics cured the wound, well enough to be released back onto the Cam.

Mr Asbo, received his reputation by his attacks on river users, who invaded 'his' territory, but was taken away when he was seen limping.
