Email: Too fast

Whilst we were staying on our narrowboat (moored on the Shroppie), I noticed the speed when other boats were passing, even though there are letters going around saying that it is hirers that do the speeding.

Sad to say, it is not, most of the boats going passed were privately owned. I am sure that the people steering would be unhappy if I went past their boat at the speed they were doing.

So could people go back to the proper way of passing moored boats, tick-over or just above, and not be ignorant and self centred and think they are above everybody else
