Trip boat for Mercia
MERCIA Marina on the Trent & Mersey Canal is looking for interested parties who would relish the opportunity to operate their own trip boat business.
Sales and Marketing Manager at Mercia, Tony Preston, tells us that they are looking into the purchase of a trip boat that would carry 22 passengers and two crew, with flexible seating making it suitable for sightseeing trips as well as parties.
Running the business
Whoever takes this on will be running the business, with the marina helping with marketing and promotion.
The boat will provide both an attraction and service to the marina, and Tony believes that this is a rare opportunity that would particularly suit someone taking early retirement.
