British Waterways limerick

TO PROMOTE the latest edition of the Adlard Coles Book of Diesel Engines Waterscape is asking boaters to compose a canal limerick.

The prize is a copy of the book that tells how to take care of your diesel engine, based on the Royal Yachting Association's one day course, Graham Phillips tells us.

We are sure that in this day and age you boaters will be able to compose a suitable limerick concerning the canals and/or rivers, but perhaps those from narrowboatworld readers would have little chance of winning...
