Man mugged on Bath towpath

A MAN was attacked by two men in the middle of the day on the towpath of the Avon in Bath.

This happened below the junction with the Kennet & Avon Canal near to Sainsbury's supermarket at 1pm last Thursday, when the 25 years old victim was walking alone by the river, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Stole his wallet

The two men were following the victim, then grabbed him striking him in the face and kicking him, then stealing his wallet, running off towards Windsor Bridge.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene, after calling the emergency services.
