THERE WERE THREE STOPPAGES over the weekend for various reasons.

Trent & Mersey Canal
The Trent & Mersey Canal suffered low water in the pound between locks 71 and 72 at the end of Heartbreak Hill into Middlewich.
Our being told that the team in letting water down the flight, so is expected to reopen fairly soon.
Stainforth & Keadby Canal
The Stainforth & Keadby Canal is closed at Keadby Lock. (Pictured.)
An hydraulic leak has developed on the bottom gates of the lock, which means it cannot be operated.
The trust's team is scheduled to attend the site today, Monday, to investigate and possibly be able to undertake repairs, so perhaps another stoppage that will soon be cleared.
Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal
The Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal is closed at Ebstree Lock 27.
A boat is being blamed for the stoppage that we are told impacted the bottom lock gates and caused them to be unworkable.
Again the team will attend to assess he damage and find a solution to repair as soon as possible we are told.
