SHIRLEY DRAWBRIDGE 8 ON THE North Stratford Canal is out of action again.
And of course unusable, Keith Gudgin reports.
The last time it failed was on the 27th of July, closing the navigation.
This time the bridge is out of action due to the user pedestal currently being out of service due to an electrical failure.
We are told contractors have been made aware of the problem and instructed to carry out repairs.
There is no date given for this to take place in view of the Bank Holiday weekend.
