Body pulled from Regent's Canal

A MAN'S BODY has been pulled from the Regent's Canal yesterday, Sunday.

He was found by a shocked towpath walker, Keith Gudgin reports.

The man was discovered at Chalk Farm near London Zoo and pulled out of the canal by the emergency service at around 10am with the body then being taken away.

Not identified

As yet he has not been identified as carrying no personal information with the police attempting to discover his identity.

However the police are not treating the man's drowning as suspicious.

The towpath was cordoned-off for a short while until the body was taken from the water.
