Good progress with Braunston Lock No3

I THOUGHT you, and perhaps your readers, may be interested in the progress being made with the replacement of the Braunston No3 lock gates, writes James.

(The stoppage was from 4th November until 19th December) I have therefore attached some pictures. [Regret but unable to include them all—Editor.]

Progress

Whilst there has clearly been progress and they are making a very good job of things, it is perhaps notable that on all three of my visits it wasn’t exactly a hive of activity! In fact there were very few if any workers about at all.
