It is closed to allow engineers to carry out investigations into the subsidence that has occurred at Tannersfield Middle Lock (67).

The Rochdale has had a poor time over the past months with it being closed for a month on 30th August then again on the 21st September then yet again for seven weeks on the 30th October.
