Email: Count the wildlife?

Published: Tuesday, 15 December 2015

Terry Palmer is clearly right that 360,000,000 human visitors could not possibly visit the waterways each year.

CaRT are very keen on wildlife, do they count the birds and the bees as well in this total?

Apparently they use telephone census techniques they must have a huge phone bill. Visitor numbers are not counted 'on the ground'.

Marswoth and Startops End reservoirs this morning: 15 humans, 5 dogs, 3 cyclists. No bees but a fair few birds, plenty of carp showing too...
