Email: Misspent money

I realise of course that conserving the past is all important to the Heritage Lottery Fund, and will look very favourably on Canal & River Trust and its needs to conserve old buildings like the Birmingham Roundhouse, but it is money misspent.

Three millions to renovate an old building is ludicrous, as any worthwhile builder (like me I may add) could do it for a fraction of the price.

But doesn't Canal & River Trust and the Heritage Lottery Fund realise the Birmingham canals were there with the Roundhouse, and surely they are more important, and certainly need many millions spending on them, and not wasted on a crumbling building that is of no use to anyone.
