Great article that! (Why can't we all be friends?) by Gareth Haines.

The reason why we are not all friends is just the nature of the average Englishman, we all hate each other. If its not class or football teams then its something else.

As for CaRT wanting the canals solely for the moneyed middle class, he is dead on target there! Only trouble is, the moneyed middle class have better things to do than dodge cyclists!
