Email: Takes offence

Further to Gareth Haines piece on this subject, as a Marina user I take offence to his assumption on this subject.

I religiously slow down to tick over well before passing moored boats, but having been out for a prolonged period this summer I have often been dismayed by the speed of boats passing me when I have been tied up.

And surprise, surprise, I have frequently seen those same boats on linear moorings later on in my cruise, so wise-up Gareth all kinds of canal users are guilty of this annoyance.
