Email: All quiet on the Shroppie

Moored rurally on the Shroppie mid morning; took dog out for a wander just after we arrived.

Quiet day—despite CaRNT's visitor figures we haven't seen one person walk past since tying up. Three bikes came through though—close but not that fast as it's muddy and a bit overgrown—and now on our latest walk we see two (definitely) freshly slung bottles. One water, one Fanta—just tossed onto the towpath.

Wonder where they came from? They seem to have no respect for the canals or towpath—but then it's free for them, isn't it? Easy come, easy go...
