Cyclist pushed into canal

A GANG of youths stopped a female cyclist who was riding on the towpath of the Regent's Canal and pushed her into the water.

It was a group of Asian youths who stopped the woman as she tried to pass them, with a female member of the group grabbing the woman and pushing her into the water together with her cycle, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Helped her out

Luckily the water was shallow and she was able to drag herself out and noticed the group of Asians running away laughing, then a man on the towpath helped her out of the water, then rescued her bike.

Altogether there were 'five or six' in the group of both sexes aged between 16 and 18 years old.  The police are investigating the crime.
