Email: Brilliant idea

The continuous cruising licence is a brilliant idea, for it allows genuine continuous cruisers to enjoy what they do without having to cough up £2'000 to £3,000/annum for a facility they don't require.

The problem lies with the issuing of these licences!

If you had to prove that you were in a position to use one e.g. retired or taking a sabbatical and sign a declaration to honour the agreement then I don't see a problem.

Unfortunately like all things in life if a loophole is there, unscrupulous people will find and abuse it.

How people can be issued with a licence to continually cruise and then have the gall to argue that they can't because they have children at school or a job to commute to just beggars belief.

I'm sure you not only know this but get fed up with people like me venting their anger about it. Sorry!
