Two Open Days
CASTLE Marinas Ltd are celebrating Wigrams Turn Marina's 10th Anniversary in March 2105. 10 years ago during March the first boats moored in Wigrams Marina. writes Linda Jenkins.
To mark the occasion Castle are holding Open Days at Wigrams Turn on Sunday 15th March (which is Mothering Sunday don't forget); plus a second Open Day at neighbouring Ventnor Marina on Saturday 14th March.

Wigrams Turn and Ventnor Marina are very different so you might like to visit both to compare them. And with Castle Marinas special flexi-berthing scheme you could berth your boat in both for the price of one marina.
Ventnor Marina is holding its Open Day from 10.00 until 4.00pm, where there will be an opportunity to walk round the marina and facilities with a member of our Marina Service Team and or participate in a canal and marina themed treasure hunt (with prizes).
Bring your boat
If you would like to bring your boat in for the evening this will be free of charge as a promotion night for you (subject to prior booking and availability).
On the evening of Saturday 14th March we are also holding an Astronomy Evening at Ventnor, so why not come and get a full day and night experience with us (light refreshments will be provided).
It is non-liveaboard status; the small bays of a dozen boats, marina banks cleverly hiding the car parking; all add to the wonderful secluded and yet friendly feel against a countryside backdrop.
Wigrams Marina

Wigrams is a liveaboard marina due to its location (only 20 minutes from the M40, M42, M1 and M6) and its excellent facilities. From boatyard facilities and onsite engineers to an onsite shop, laundry/housekeeping facilities and even a separate dog walking area. Wigrams has 225 narrowboat berths and some wide beam berths.
