'Narrow' closed again

A BOAT became stuck in a Huddersfield Narrow lock yesterday, Sunday, with the waterway now closed until it can be removed.

This is a fairly regular occurrence as the Huddersfield Narrow locks need a crew's full attention, with 74 locks over a distance of just 20 miles, and some needing attention.

This time the boat is fast in Lock 32E Pig Tail Lock at the start of the Marsden Flight.
