Email: That telephone number

I had an email chat with CaRT about telephone numbers a few weeks ago. As I understand it, the emergency number 0800 47 999 47 is still in existence.

For a waterway related emergency during office hours, one can call either the emergency number or the main switchboard at 0303 040 4040. Out of hours one should continue to use the emergency number.

I was promised some clarification would be sent out to boaters but I haven't seen anything yet. This is really a very confusing situation, especially with signs around the system apparently showing either rather than both numbers, and CaRT ought to do something about it.
