Concern for missing boater

FELLOW boaters and family of liveaboard boater Elaine Harrison are extremely worried about her continued disappearance from Castle Marina on the Nottingham Canal.

Elaine, a 39 years old mother and grandmother, disappeared from her boat in the marina without trace on Monday 9th December, with the police too, worried about her, Keith Gudgin tells us.

Last seen

She is well built, with fairly long grey hair, and was last seen wearing a grey coat and dark trousers, wearing silver rimmed glasses, and was last seen on CCTV by Pizza Hut by the marina.

An extensive campaign, including many searches by volunteers and family together with posters and even media including television and radio, has gleaned no results whatsoever.

Boating community

The boating community, already involved, have been further asked, especially those cruising, to keep an eye open for Elaine, wherever they are in the area, with both family, friends and the police becoming extremely concerned.
