Navigation closed but no reason given

THE Wendover Arm, off the Grand Union Canal has been closed.

But no reason is given, other than 'maintenance', Keith Gudgin reports.

No explanation

It was yesterday it was announced it was closed, but most unusually there was no explanation for the closure.

Rumours are that it could be either a leak or breach, that are happening with increasing regularity with so much rain causing problems.
