Repair plan in place for Staffs & Worcs damaged culvert

Canal & River Trust has now exposed the culvert by Deptmore Lock on the Staffs & Worcs Canal.

The team have excavated the site and identified the extent of the culvert collapse, Keith Gudgin reports.

Has a repair plan

It is now stating that it has a repair plan in place of installing a liner, but this will not be available until the 24th January, that it states will then take a week to repair after being received.

Assuming all goes to plan the navigation should reopen by Friday 9th February.
