THE Canal & River Trust has today (Monday) announced that Central Shires will go, its responsibilities 'being absorbed into the neighbouring East Midlands, West Midlands and Manchester & Pennine waterways.

IT WOULD seem that those at Canal & River Trust were very put-out at losing the case against Andy Wingfield (Concerns on the part of the Trust) and are hanging on to his money that it illegally took for moorings he did not have.

No problems with cruiser

I WOULD like to thank James Henry for pointing out that I have been in 'GRP land'; there were very few out on the water all the way from Leicester to Shardlow. It is also wide beam land and there were a few of those out and about, writes Kevin McNiff.

It is GRP land
