WORK now underway to the sluice adjacent to Meadow Lane Lock means that there is no access to the Trent to or from Nottingham.
The Nottingham & Beeston Canal is closed whilst work in undertaken which will take until the 18th March, Keith Gudgin tells us.
Visitor moorings
Though access is restricted, it will be allowed to the visitor moorings situated above the lock.
It is not known how or when such access will be allowed.
