THE locks on the Bath Flight have been reopened after they were closed to navigation after a boat struck Lock 12.
The boat damaged the gate, gate collar and gate anchor, leaving the lock unusable on Saturday, but it has been quickly repaired.

The first two locks on the Aylesbury Arm of the Grand Union Canal however, where a balance beam failed on Lock 2, are still awaiting a new beam.
The lock was operated by CaRT staff on Monday, but a boater told us there was no one on hand yesterday (Tuesday) at the time given, when he wanted to get his boat back to his moorings.
