Cropredy Marina opens in April

A SERIES of Open Days at the new Cropredy Marina on the southern Oxford Canal has created a great deal of interest from boaters in the area.

This new 249 berth marina, the larger of the two given planning permission at Cropredy, is now nearing completion and is scheduled to open on 1st April next year, in time for the new season.

Full services

Owner and developer Tim Langer tells us that it offers secure moorings and full canalside services, and already 50 paid applications for berths have been received, adding:

"It's also very encouraging to see that we have a number of mooring applications for new-build boats. We aim to provide value for money, a friendly service, and a peaceful ambiance."

Further open days are scheduled for 25th November, 20th January and 24th February.
