CART fail to safeguard moorings

BOATERS moored in central London are having their boats targeted and damaged by yobs after Canal & River Trust locked open the entry to the moorings.

The Angel and Camden moorings were originally both closed at night however recently the Angel moorings have been locked open by CART,  allowing yobs entry, boater Chris Atkinson tells us.

Smashing windows

This has lead to various boats and friends of Chris being targeted by youths smashing windows and damaging property at night.

He of course wants to end this, and get the moorings back to a safe environment, with the moorings locked again, but complaining to British Waterways and CART time and again, he states, seems to fall on deaf ears.
