THOUGH past applications for development had failed, approval has been given for a waterside residential development at the site of Marsworth Workshop on the Grand Union Canal.
The application is by British Waterways for the building of 12 new dwellings and the conversion of the former carpenter's workshop to provide a total of 13 more new dwellings, Alan Tilbury reveals.
Minor improvements
There will be other minor improvements to the crane and car parking, with work expected to start next Spring, and should take about a year to complete.
The first effort at development caused some controversy as it did not include any boaters facilities, but it is not known if the latest one does either.
