Cash found for festival

THE Waterways Festival of Light at Brierley Hill had to be cancelled this year owing to the lack of sponsorship, but an events company is taking it on for next year.
The event on the Stourbridge Canal attracts many boaters, but this year with no sponsorship it was cancelled, but now, the Tamworth event company CCEM has taken over from Dudley Council to stage the festival.
The company has bought the rights to stage the festival for the future, that again will be by the Stourbridge Canal, and expects to attracts many boaters. It's actual date is not yet known.
