No more boat shows

IT HAS just been announced that owing to lack of support this year's Boat & Caravan Show will be the last.

Ocean Media has cancelled the Boat & Caravan Show and the accompanying Outdoor Leisure Show 2012, held at the National Exhibition Centre, for there has been little support from the trade, with very few stands booked, Alan Tilbury reveals.

No boats

This is partly due to a competing Motorhome, Caravan and Camping Show that will be held around the same time next year in February, but without any boats being included.

It is the National Caravan Council that have launched the new show, backed by its many members, that left Ocean Media little choice but to pull out, though it has celebrated 50 years of its event.
