Mug Tug goes pink

THE Mug Tug is a paint-a-pot studio in a narrowboat moored at Barton Marina, and its owner is encouraging people to wear pink to support its fund-raising programme for a breast cancer charity.

Its owner, Lesley Blackshaw, tells that she has two friends who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, that is devastating for them, and has prompted her to raise funds for cancer research.

Come on board

Lesley is hoping people will wear pink in aid of breast cancer research,  and is inviting new and old customers to come on board on Friday for a pink party.

The Mug Tub will be staying open late on the day for people to get together to help raise funds for the cause, with half of the fees taken throughout the day being donated to the Wear It Pink campaign.

There will be the opportunity to paint a pot and do other things to get into the party spirit, and perhaps even bring a bottle of wine.
