Barclaycard volunteer

BRITISH Waterways have snapped-up Barclaycard London as a volunteer to adopt a stretch of the Regent's Canal, it was announced today—Friday.

Two years

The two years adoption will see British Waterways work with Barclaycard London staff who will be volunteering their time to undertake everything from litter picking and graffiti clearance through to wildlife habitat enhancement and interpretation of the area.

There is an invitation to join the Barclaycard team's first adoption activity next Tuesday 1st March, from 11.45am to 12.30pm, refurbishing and replanting bird rafts on the waterway at Bridge 59, at Ben Jonson Road.
