Vandals dump kid's bus in canal

VANDALS stole a minibus from outside a Preston nursery, drove it to a canal and dumped it in the water.

The bus that is used to transport young children was obviously stolen intentionally as the vandals broke into a secure compound to gain access, drove it around Savick then to the Ribble Link and pushed it into the canal.

Specialist  equipment was used to hoist the bus from the waterway, where it was taken to a garage for repair.

Parents of the young children attending the nursery were outraged that someone was mindless enough to do such a thing, and hope the thieves can be caught and punished.
