THE TRENT & MERSEY CANAL that was closed due to low water levels has reopened.
The trusts local team has successfully raised the water levels between Lock 67 and Lock 70 on the waterway.
The pound was reopened at 2pm yesterday at 2pm.
Huddersfield Narrow Canal
The Huddersfield Narrow Canal that was closed from Lock 1W to Lock 32West has reopened.
The closure was closed by a leak in the pound between Lock 12 W and Lock 13 W, that as we stated, had been successfully repaired.
