ANOTHER WATERWAY IS CLOSED due to lack of water.
This time it is the Rochdale Canal, Keith Gudgin reports.
A navigation closure is in place between pounds from Lock 20 to Lock 24, we are told this is due to a boater operational error.
How a 'boater operational error' can cause low water over four separate pounds is not stated.

The heat had closed the swing bridge yesterday, but the issue has been resolved and the swing bridge is now open for navigation.
