Winner announced of River Canal Rescue competition

THE WINNER of the River Canal Rescue (RCR) competition has been announced.

Peter Chapman from Derbyshire, correctly identified what the engineers was doing in the image published in narrowboatworld.

Correctly identified 

There were a number of people who correctly identified what the engineer was doing in the image, which was was checking the alternator belt tension, so a draw had to be made, with Peter as the winner.

At present he is on holiday but will redeem his prize of silver membership valued at £235, when he returns.

The competition proved so popular that another competition will be run in June, but will be made easier to enter, we are told. The picture is of Pete and his wife Claire.
