Winter works cancelled though not even started

THE winter works by Canal & River Trust have not yet started, but are being cancelled.

The winter works for the Llangollen Canal were scheduled to start on Monday the 25th of November, but have been cancelled, Keith Gudgin reports.

No longer going ahead

The the trust relating—These works are no longer going ahead within this winter works programme; we are hopeful that they can be delivered next winter.

The work at Springhill Bridge 41 was due to run from  25th November to the 20th December.

The waterway will now be open for navigation during that period.
