The water at locks 5 and 6 was too low for navigation, yesterday, Wednesday, Keith Gudgin reports.
We are told that contractors have been informed and will investigate the issue further.

Also yesterday, it was discovered that a broken paddle means that Dukes Cut Lock 44A takes up to 20 minutes to fill. This is caused by a top gate paddle housing unit not functioning correctly due to an unidentified defect, we are informed.
The advice to boaters wanting to enter or exit the Thames is to divert via Isis Lock 46.
