Rib craft stolen from its moorings on the Avon
Warwickshire Police are appealing for information following the theft of a Rib craft.
This belonged to the Stratford Sea Cadets, which was stolen in the early hours of 23 July 2024, reports Roger Fox.
The Rib craft, equipped with a Mercury engine, was moored on the Avon and serves as an essential training vessel for the sea cadets. The loss of this craft significantly impacts their activities and training programs.
To come forward
The police urge anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity around the mooring area, or who has any information about the whereabouts of the stolen craft, to come forward.
Should any boaters either on the Avon or connecting waterways, notice such a craft they are asked to report it by email to:
'Any details, no matter how small, could prove crucial in helping us recover the Rib craft and bring those responsible to justice'.
