Two more Grand Union Canal stoppages

FOLLOWING on four stoppages on the Grand Union last month, there are already two more this month.
Braunston Lock 4 is closed with an 'unexpected fault', meaning the bottom gates cannot be closed.The lock cannot of course be used until this is rectified.
The local team have attended the site to try and rectify the issue.
Boaters cannot currently use the lock, until this problem is resolved.
Another lock
Another lock out of action on the Grand Union is Grove Lock 28 with its off side ground paddle damaged causing loss of water from the pound above rendering the lock inoperable.
This time it is the Regional Reactive Response Team that are onsite today, Thursday.
