Grand Union Canal waste facility goes

ANOTHER waste facility disappears, this time for good.

The facility at Cook's Wharf on the Grand Union Canal at Pitstone is to be permanently lost, Keith Gudgin reports.

Not the trust's land

The facility will be permanently closed from Friday 9th February, with the decision being made as this land does not belong to the trust.

There is no intimation of any new facility being available in its place, only the information that the nearest alternative facilities are at Marsworth or Leighton Buzzard.
