FOR the first time, a craft fair is to be held at Foxton Flight.
The organisers, Canal & River Trust, hope to welcome an array of local stallholders selling a variety of items including jewellery, soap, wood crafts, kid's clothing, cakes and other handmade gifts.
Families, it remarks, will also be able to get crafty themselves with rock painting, colouring and crafting activities.
Visitors are encouraged to make a day of it and explore some of the walking trails and scavenger hunts that can be found alongside the canal. There will also be some outdoor games, and refreshments will be available at the fair or at one of the on-site pubs and cafes.
The fair, taking place between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 21st October, is an opportunity for people to get some early Christmas shopping done and explore the site.
