Again it's Cox on the Rocks!

ONCE again the Coxhead Swing Bridge (20) on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal is out of action.

This is just four months since its last failure when it was closed, with this time it having a broken barrier, Keith Gudgin reports.

No such advice

Though Canal & River Trust normally give the information that its team will be attending, there is no such advice this time.

At one of its failures last year it was repaired in the day, but this does not seem likely with no information being given.

The swing bridge has been repaired and the navigation re-opened.
