Water tap sorted

THE water tap that would not give water has been rectified and is working.

It was our Keith who pulled in to get water from the tap located at Fazeley Mill Marina towpath water point, to discover it had been 'repaired' by contractors, but he could not get water.

Wrong fitting

It had a 1/2 inch BSP fitting only, without the normal addition of a 1 inch BSP fitting that most boater have on their hoses. Neither was there any way to turn the water on, the 'tap' unable to turn.

But it was quickly corrected, most likely by the Canal & River Trust Team that know about such things, fitted with the correct BSP fitting and the water being able to be turned on and off.
