Fight at Gloucester Quays as two gangs clash

TWO rival gangs clashed at Gloucester Quays leaving one person with 'serious injuries'.

The fight spilled-over onto the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal towpath near Sainsbury's with the police attending in an attempt to break it up.

Taken to hospital

An ambulance was needed to take 'contestants' to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where one was told to be in critical condition with serious injuries.

The towpath was closed while investigations took place.
