Marinas raises £790 for Macmillan charity

WHITE Mills Marina on the Nene has broken its record for raising cash for Macmillan.

This year its topped last year's event by raising £100 more than the previous year—a total of £890 for the cancer charity.

Bake for the cause

This year the team went all out to encourage more bakers than ever to get their pinnies on and bake for the magnificent cause which of course they did.

And the suppliers came up trumps too by donating some fantastic raffle prizes, which certainly helped boost the coffers.

As ever, everyone dug as deep as possible to donate and to help us reach our target.
