Fireworks at Anderton

A SPECTACULAR fireworks display is planned for this Saturday at Anderton Boat Lift.

The pyrotechnic team, Blitz Fireworks, from Crewe will be staging the spectacular from a floating pontoon on the Weaver with the display attractively reflected in the water, Alan Tilbury reports.

Country singer

This starts at 6.30pm on Saturday 26th October and will feature a musical event headlined by country singer Kira Mac, whose song 'Storm on the Horizon' reached number three in the iTunes country music charts and has appeared at venues throughout the country including London's 02.

There will be fairground rides, such as the spectacular ‘Miami’ as well as childrens' rides, with food and a licensed bar on site.

On the night, gate price will be £9.50 for adults, £6.50 for children and £24 for a family ticket.
