Bosley Flight closed!

"I don't believe it!', would say the another Victor, upon learning that the Bosley Flight is closed yet again!

Alas, after Canal & River Trust proclaiming the Macclesfield Canal is open after a year of problems, it is closed again, and again it's the Bosley Flight, Keith Gudgin reports.

Again thwarted

So all those boaters believing they were now at last able to get to or from the Trent & Mersey or Peak Forest canals are again thwarted.

And again it is a cill that as given way, on Lock 2, this time described that is 'has lifted' by the Trust, with the flight closed whilst the area is drained, and the problem investigated.

Other than being informed the flight will be closed for the week, there is no intimation when it will reopen.
